The project will develop a metadatabase that will give an overview of the various central health registries as well as the content and quality of their variables. The metadatabase will not contain sensitive information, but will provide information that is useful for researchers when outlining a research project and planning statistical analyses.
The development of the metadatabase will not have any implications for the application procedures for access to data, but its functionality will enable researchers to generate a variable shopping list that can be attached to applications for registry access.
